The mantra ‘ᴏᴍ sʀɪ sᴀɪ ᴠᴀsᴀɴᴛʜᴀ sᴀɪᴇsᴀɪʏᴀ ɴᴀᴍᴀʜᴀ’ was born on *May 23rd, 1998*. Swami Himself wrote the mantra. It is the Shiva Shakthi mantra, which unites Shakthi with God.
It is the remedy for the triple diseases that face man: mind, body and soul. I have written about how this mantra cured many physical ailments in the book ‘Prema Nivarana Sai’. There I just gave a few examples; now thousands have been cured of many diseases. The diseases of the mind are the bad qualities and characteristics. ᴛʜᴇ ᴍᴀɴᴛʀᴀ ʀᴇᴍᴏᴠᴇs ᴀʟʟ ʙᴀᴅ ϙᴜᴀʟɪᴛɪᴇs ᴀɴᴅ ᴅɪʀᴇᴄᴛs ᴛʜᴇ ᴍɪɴᴅ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ʀɪɢʜᴛ ᴅɪʀᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ. ғɪɴᴀʟʟʏ, ɪᴛ ғʀᴇᴇs ᴛʜᴇ sᴏᴜʟ ғʀᴏᴍ ᴛʜᴇ ᴅɪsᴇᴀsᴇ ᴏғ ʙɪʀᴛʜ ᴀɴᴅ ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ, ʙᴇsᴛᴏᴡɪɴɢ ʟɪʙᴇʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ . It also gives Universal Liberation and removes the karmas of the world. The union of Shiva and Shakthi is New Creation. This mantra is the basis for creation. My parents were married on May 23, 1937. It was on this day the seed for this mantra was sown. On *October 23, 1938*, the Shakthi half of this mantra was born as I, Vasantha. On November 23, 1926, Shiva was born, as Swami, Sai Baba. ɪᴛ ʜᴀs ᴛᴀᴋᴇɴ sɪxᴛʏ ʏᴇᴀʀs ғᴏʀ sʜɪᴠᴀ ᴀɴᴅ sʜᴀᴋᴛʜɪ ᴛᴏ ᴜɴɪᴛᴇ ᴀs ᴍᴀɴᴛʀᴀ. For this, Shakthi had to perform penance for sixty years. Shiva comes to shower His grace for Shakthi’s penance. He united His name with hers, creating a mantra.
On this Holy day, which is also the Poornima Full Moon day, a special Yagna (fire-offering) has been arranged in the Ashram for Mother Sri Asta Dhasa-bhuja Adi Mahalakshmi on 23rd May 2024, from morning 10 AM to 1 PM.
In the evening, special Abhishekam will be performed to Mother Jnanaambigai, Sri Chakra Poorna Maha Meru, Nine Narashimhas and the 18 Siddhars.
